Three riders are already home, and just one is still out on the 1100-kilometre course — Patrick Müller, who has covered 971 kilometres and is chasing a fourth-place finish with the end now well within reach. Alex Rothe took the win more than three days in, and the race has effectively come down to this final chapter: one rider, the road, and roughly 129 kilometres left to go.

Three finishers home, one rider still out on a 1100-kilometre course — and with Patrick Müller 971 kilometres in, the race for fourth place is very much alive. Alex Rothe wrapped up the win some time ago, but Müller is closing in on the line after more than three days in the saddle, with roughly 129 kilometres left to ride. The rest of the field of 190 is still waiting for their moment.

Alex Rothe has won — the finish line is behind him now — and with 191 of 192 riders either done or on the road, only three remain out there grinding toward their final placing. Viktoria Fischer heads that trio at kilometre 1121, just past the full 1100-kilometre route, chasing down whatever position the clock hands her. After three days and sixteen hours of racing, the podium spots are settled; what's left is the quiet, hard business of getting everyone home.
